I remember playing all of his music when it was new. He was way ahead of his time, and taken way too soon. (along with Sylvester). Their music together, or alone, will live on forever…it is timeless. Thank you for the music, and wonderful memories.

I will be at san francisco folsom street fair end of sept in 2012 and ive mad a t-shirt in tribute to Patrick, , also as it will be 30 years since he was taken, Hes a fantasitc artist and i love his music , more now than ever it doest age at all . Look out fo rme in san franscis in 2012

wow, it saddens me to read about such great talent leaving this planet so soon. Patrick Cowley made a huge contribution to the world of dance music and this will never be forgotten. He is eternal thru his music and this is a great achievement. Thanks for sharing your love of music and synths with us…..

I had no idea! Patrick Cowley is awesome. I just found a Paul Parker 12 w/ a cover of the Seed’s ‘Pushing Too Hard’ produced by Cowley that is amazing. I’d love to get a hold of that book.

Thanks, Chris, for such a well-written memorial to Patrick.
It’s hard to believe 25 years have passed.
I close my eyes and remember dancing to his (and Sylvester’s) music. I treasure their records and still listen to them.
So much lost talent………the fight to find a cure must go on in memory of all who have died. May they all rest in peace.
PS: Anybody know what ever happened to Jose Rodriguez (mastered for Megatone)?
