Mashit is a Chicago record label producing body-moving genre-blends
Mashit began by producing vinyl records at the turn of the millennium, including the first releases from now-legendary artists like (Chrissy) Murderbot and Aaron Spectre (Drumcorps). As they flew off the shelves, the earliest Mashit 12-inches became underground classics.
Soon, BBC Radio 1 host John Peel chose Mashit as a “label of the month” and had founder DJ C record a session of Mashit tracks.
The label has gone on to produce 7 more 12-inches, & over 20 digital releases.

As we await the arrival of their new tunes on Mashit, HopesAndDrums‘ artwork is being shown at the MassMOAA Museum, where their debut tune was recently unveiled.
